Myla is a young artist and half of the famous duo that creates drawings where the mom (Mica Hendricks) composes beautifully drawn heads and the daughter, Myla completes the figure and adds fanciful details.

The mini-markers represent Myla's go-to art tool while the stuffed donkey is her mom's favorite childhood comfort (now Myla's). When asked which animal represents her, Myla decided on the pteranodon. She loves superheroes and masks and has a penchant for Reese's chocolates.

This time lapse process video somewhat shows how I work. It was difficult, however, to work flat on the table and not move the painting.

Amelia is a writer, like her famous mom, and James makes puppets! Books play a large role in this writerly family and James suggested we include a moustache factory in the piece. As so we did.
